Tanzini, G Tower

always talk about eat~
but i never have a chance to go for fine dining until i see the deal from Groupon...
3-course western lunch at Tanzini for RM 38 per pax?
to experience the fine dining, of course i bought the voucher...
and there we go~
Tanzini at G Tower Hotel...
left from the lift... level 28 of G Tower...
walked into the restaurant...
all you can see is friendly smile on all the waiters and waitresses' face...
although we are using the voucher, they still treat us like normal guests...
while i walking into the restaurant~
i took some shots...
the waiting area...
part of the dining area...
table for 2?
the wine cellar along the walkway...
what a classy and cosy ambience~
while waiting for our food and drinks to be served...
i walked out from the restaurant to the "balcony"...
smoking area~
very kind of them...
well prepared for the smokers...
chairs and side table with ashtray...
spot the KLCC...
i believe it would be really great sitting outside to have a couple of drinks last time...
before all the construction works going on...

let's move on to what we had on that great afternoon...
(it was a great afternoon because we actually heading to Langkawi that night ^^)
when we were brought to our table...
this was already on the table...
we were wondering what was that...
i was actually thinking it was just a decoration... haha!
dips for the pre-dining bread~
they were awesome!
the one on the left...was actually made with chili...
the middle one was the olive oil with balsamic vinegar...
on the right was the chili flake in olive oil~
i love the chili paste...hmm...it's so yummy...
hot soft pre-dining bread~
the voucher didn't include drinks~
so, we ordered our drinks from the menu...
and it was a mistake for us not taking their promotion...
with the set lunch, you can buy 2 mocktails at RM 19.00++
but we didn't take that...
what we picked from the menu were the most expensive drinks i ever had...
Fresh Orange Juice  RM 16.00++
RM 16 for a glass of Orange Juice? OMG!!
it's ridiculous, but what do you expect in a fine dining restaurant right?
the hot drinks to me were still acceptable...
we pay about the same in Starbucks or Coffee Bean anyway~
Hot Mocha  RM 13.00++
Hot Cafe Latte  RM 13.00++
enough for the drinks~
our 3-course lunch started with a soup or a salad...
Soup of the day - Zuppa Del Giorno
i don't know what's the ingredients of the soup...
it was good... thick and strong on the taste...
it really opened my taste bud~
Bei had the salad, so that we could taste on both...
Yellow Fin Tuna Salad
the salad was superb...
Carpaccio of Yellow Fin Tuna served with organic salad greens, black grapes and Yuzu Vinaigrette~
for main course...
Tanzini offered 3 choices...
we had 4 vouchers, so we can had all 3... ^^
Bei had the Grilled Black Angus Rib Eye...
served with Perigueux sauce, black truffle, potato Mousseline and seasonal vegetables...
the steak was juicy and tender...
how we wish they could give a thicker cut~
Grilled Black Angus Rib Eye
i of course will choose the lamb...
Sous-vide of Lamb Leg
the 8 hours slow-cooked sliced lamb leg...
served with Tuscan Peppers, Puy Lentil and sautéed vegetables...
it was juicy and tender...not too much of fat...
again, i wish they could give a thicker cut... XD
Sous-vide of Lamb Leg
my Fei Mei do not fancy lamb or beef...
but she crazy over pasta...
so, that was her choice - the Spaghetti Alfredo
served with grilled boneless chicken leg, portobello mushrooms ad aged parmesan...
the chicken was juicy and tender also~
the spaghetti was nice...not too creamy yet strong on cheese taste... yum!
Spaghetti Alfredo
after all our main courses...
the waiter served the dessert of the day~
it was a chocolate cake...
i kinda like it... but it was a bit too sweet towards the end...
dessert of the day~
the portion of the food were crazily small...
perhaps it's how the fine dining should be...
but looking at next table...their ala carte portion wasn't that small~
maybe next time, i should go back for the ala carte dinner menu...
overall, the service was excellent...
the food tasted great~ nice ambience and view...
was a great experience for me...
was my first time, having fine dining as my meal~
not really know what i wrote is adequate...
but i will learn...hope whoever reading this won't mind it...
a picture before we entered the lift...
